Maternity Web Site Performance Scoring?
Each maternity site & parenting web site listed within our maternity directory is scanned for a period
of 5 days (in a row) at intervals of 15 minutes from no less than
5 points around the world. We then get an average download time from
all 5 points. This means that we
will scan each site for no less than 2,400 times. We will then compare
the average download time of the homepage to the maternity industry standard
download time and assign a rating based on the percentage of your
score versus the industry standard.
Here's an example...
Your avg download time: 12,600 bps
Industry standard time: 14,860 bps
Calculation: 12,600 / 14,860 = 84.79% or 85%
Because our numbers are calculated by a third party
(Alertra) you can
be guaranteed there is no bias in our numbers.
